Nice friendly hotel. Food is very good,Bedrooms quite small but have en-suite . Every Morning wakened by race horses going for exercise, absolutely an amazing site, the clip clopping of hooves on the cobbles. Would recommend this hotel, very unique.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay last Friday. Very warm welcome. Attentive staff. Food glorious. Very homely quiet and cosy. Looking forward to our next visit.

A lovely little pub in Leyburn with reasonably priced drinks and food. Serving the finest 54 North from Black Sheep brewery. I ate a chilli chicken sandwich which was full or flavour. A dog friendly pub that provides dog biscuits and a bowl of water. May struggle getting parked, pigs operate in the area so be careful. Will be back to this family friendly pub when I visit Leyburn again.
Top class. Unpretentious genuine quality. The place is booked out but not crowded. Tables are spacious and spaced well apart so you don't feel cramped. Attentive service from friendly people, and most important - great food. Interesting, very tasty and we'll presented.

Very nice place to sit and have a drink in the sun. Bit expensive compared to other places, but definitely caters towards the higher end which is good for choice.
This is my home turf, it's impossible to find anything to complain about in the Yorkshire Dales. They broke the mould afterwards. It's a real treat to stay in this lovely old Inn. Cares just fall away. The staff cannot be more accommodating, the buildings are well maintained and traditional with delicious creaky floorboards in the main house. There is a well stocked wine cellar and the kitchen supplies some first class food. It turns out that my Inn a few hundred yards further along is in my family history but that fact will not deter me from staying here again.
