Just spent two nights at this hotel that was very comfortable and warm. Staff very nice and obliging. We ate in the hotel on our first night which could have been better. I had pie which I found to be rather salty and the portion would not have been enough for a male. . I had creme brulee for desert which was disappointing after I have tasted very good ones in the past. The breakfasts were very good and the lady serving was excellent.
Absolutely top-notch place! Staff could not be faulted, especially the main man (think he was the manager) who was exceptional, the very definition of good customer service. Food was arguably on par with some Michelin star places I've tried but with better prices and portion sizes! They went above and beyond for my vegan girlfriend, offering to adapt almost anything on the menu rather than doing what other places do of just suggesting one option. I'd absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Just to clarify, this is a review of their bar/restaurant as we did not stay in the hotel, but I can imagine if kept to the same high standards as their bar and restaurant that this would also be 5-stars!

Overall a really nice stay. Huge bed which was good but left the room a tad snug which isn't a bad thing necessarily. Lovely bathroom. Dog friendly and the dog could stay in the hotel. A huge compliment is that although dogs stay there, the rooms were clean, fresh and Didn't smell doggie at all which was fantastic. Good food. Service was a bit hit and miss but it was busy. Would recommend. One bit of info for dog owners but not a negative at all against the hotel, there's no grass areas at the hotel but a couple of minutes walk leads to nice open grass areas as I know some dogs can be fussy.
Lovely little pub, friendly staff and great real ales. Really enjoyed a couple of points there.

Fabulous restaurant. We ate there two nights in a row. The food was delicious and served beautifully. The service was excellent. The prices very fair for such a great dining experience.
went on Sunday evening and whilst quiet the service and food was exceptional. I had a small plate if monk fish cheeks and garlic followed by amazing venison lovely and pink. Will be going back.

We love this place. Great food, great service. We always reserve a table in the bar with the cosy open fire. I constantly recommend it to others.
Amazing food and great atmosphere, we prefer to sit by the lovely open fire in the bar! Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Lovely Bed & Breakfast. This was our second time staying here and we will be returning in the future. The staff are all very attentive and welcoming, we checked in late and with an 8 week old baby but it was no problem at all. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is proudly locally sourced and each single ingredient was absolutely delicious. Wonderful time, will be back soon!
Whole gang of us took over this place for a short holiday. We had a wonderful time. Enhanced by fantastic staff. They even joined in our fancy dress "Last of the Summer Wine" themed last supper there. Good food. Superb tea & cake each afternoon on our return. Highly recommended.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Fantastic place I won a 2 night stay in a luxury static caravan and had a superb time. Its only a shame the vans are only for owner occupied.
Excellent Park and Tenants serve fabulous food.

Nice site just outside a small town (walking distance - there is a leaflet showing the way via country lanes and footpaths so avoiding walking along the pavement by the road). Small waterfall directly across main road with short path - good for short dog walk. The site is easily accessible with just a short run of single track to the entrance but with visibility right up to the gate from the first right bend (after crossing the bridge and heading left). Clean and tidy site with several small areas separated from each other. Nicely sheltered from the winds off the valley. Good location.
Site location is lovely in an old quarry, closest pub is at the top of the hill the pheasant inn, didn’t try it,closet town/shops,Leyburn about 15 minute drive or a 25 min walk on a busy noisy road. Highly recommend the sandpiper inn for food in Leyburn. Site was very wet and pitch we were on was quite muddy(our choice tho so we could have awning)site is quite big although didn’t have to wait to use toilet or shower. Entrance is fine as long as you take your time on decent and stick to arrival time (after 12) Didn’t appreciate the lawn mower at 9am tho to be honest understand it needs doing etc,but not nice to be woken up by. All in all would visit again but site does need a little tidy around pitches etc.
